NBTC has verbally confirmed that ETSI EN 301 893 V2.2.1 or later is now accepted for WLAN devices operating in the 5.725–5.850 GHz band.
Under the current NBTC TS 1035-2562, the accepted standards for this band are:
- ETSI EN 302 502
- FCC Part 15.247
- FCC Part 15.407
Starting from August 2026, NBTC also accepts:
- ETSI EN 301 893 V2.2.1 or later
Please note that EN 300 440 is currently still not accepted by NBTC as a basis for WLAN 5.725–5.850 GHz applications.
