On May 6, 2026, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and the Provision of Postal Services (NCEC) of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 212, updating Ukraine’s radio frequency regulations.

For the Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, the new regulation allows the use of the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard.
For the Wi-Fi 6 GHz band, the maximum permitted channel bandwidth is currently 320 MHz.
