On April 30, 2026, the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) of India announced an exemption from Fibre Channel test items for LAN switches under the MTCTE certification scheme, including products such as Fabric Interconnects and SAN switches.
This exemption will remain valid until July 31, 2026. Manufacturers are required to submit a declaration letter confirming that their switch equipment does not support the exempted test items.
