The National Center for Communication Security (NCCS) of India issued a notification on March 11, 2026, on the hardening of devices for security testing and certification. NCCS issued another notification on March 17, 2026, allowing applicants to modify software in their Device Under Testing (DUT) at the Telecom Security Testing Laboratories (TSTL) as long as they submit declarations as outlined in the Annexures.
