[India] India DoT Publishes LPI and VLP WAS / RLAN in Lower 6 GHz Band Rules

The DoT publishes notification on the Use of Low Power and Very Low Power Wireless Access System including RLAN in the Lower 6 GHz Band Rules, 2026 on January 20^th.

Based on the notification, the lower 6 GHz band (5925–6425 MHz) has been delicensed for LPI and VLP usage, subject to compliance with the specified technical and operational conditions.

However, regarding the acceptance and review process for Wi-Fi 6E equipment applications, further clarification or implementation guidance from the WPC are still be required.
