The Agencia de Regulation y Control de las Telecomunicaciones (ARCOTEL) of Ecuador authorized operator CNT to operate 5G in the N78 (3500 MHz) frequency band on November 17, 2025. Additional operators are expected to be authorized soon. ARCOTEL is now issuing 5G NR certificates. Previous certificates are not updated and remain valid.
