Autorité de Regulation des Communications Électroniques et de la Poste (ARCEP) in Niger published Decision No. 000011/ARCEP/CNRCEP/25 on October 8, 2025, on the Procedures for Approval of Terminal and/or Radioelectric Equipment and the Issuance of Installer Approval. The Revised procedures now require the use of a new approval form and the inclusion of the RED Cybersecurity Directive. Non-compliant applications will be rejected. Due to these reforms which are now in effect, all current projects that are awaiting certificates are temporarily on hold until the required documents have been provided.
