NBTC issues an announcement to emphasize to supplier (e.g. importers) to aware that Wireless Network Video Recorder (Wireless NVR) products will require NBTC conformity assessment. Wireless NVR with Wi-Fi (RLAN) function will require NBTC SDoC. In fact, there is no change in requirement. This announcement is made because there are several issues that importers do not apply SDoC and import Wireless NVR with unauthorized frequency such as 2515 MHz (authorized frequency for Wi-Fi is 2400-2500 MHz). This caused interference to mobile phone network and network operator feedback these issues to NBTC. So NBTC issues this announcement to emphasize to importers that they shall apply for SDoC in order to assess technical requirements and comply with existing regulation.
