The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) of Mexico previously held a public consultation to modify the effective date and applicability of the Guidelines for IFT Seal use from July 1, 2025, to July 1, 2027. IFETEL published their report on the considerations of the public consultation, a regulatory impact analysis of the project, an official non-binding opinion of the Coordinación General de Mejora Regulatoria (CGMR), and a Draft agreement submitted for consideration by the IFT plenary session.
