Due to budget cuts to the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) of Mexico, several IFETEL staff members have been laid off. Type approval delays are expected over the next several months as the staff adjusts to these changes and waits for the new agency Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones (ATDT) to take charge of Homologation procedures.
