The Minister of Kementrian Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO) of Indonesia published Keputusan Nomor 352 Tahun 2024 on Technical Standards for Telecommunications Equipment and/or Mobile Telecommunication Devices Based on Long Term Evolution Technology Standards and International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 Standards.
This new regulation features the additional bands below for Smartphones and other devices with WWAN features supported by WWAN base stations:
LTE:
- Subscriber Station and Base Station: B28 and B31
- Repeater: B1, B3, B5, B8, B28, B31, no B40 (in the previous regulation there was no mention for repeater devices)
5G:
- Subscriber Station and Base Station: FR1 (n28), FR2 (n258)
