The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) of Indonesia released Decision No. 109 of 2024 on March 27, 2024. This regulation will be in force from April 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and revokes Regulation No. 11 of 2021.
The new Regulation includes the following updates:
• It is mandatory for Overseas Labs accredited by SDPPI to carry out testing of Telecommunications Devices according to Indonesian National Standards or Technical Standards valid in Indonesia, and attach a summary of the results report page.
• Test Report Publication Dates will no longer have a determination, with the exception of Test Reports for HKT products issued no more than 5 years from when the application was submitted.
• Test Location and Laboratory Scope must comply with the Regulation.
• Laser Safety Scopes are not covered within the Regulation, so Laser Safety Test Reports must be conducted at Domestic Labs.
• Digital Signatures are required for all Overseas Test Reports regardless of the publication date.
• Test Reports are not permitted at On-Site Test Locations.
