The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has announced an update regarding the enforcement date for the 5G frequency band n71 under GEN002 regulations. In response to feedback from manufacturers, the CST has decided that the n71 frequency band will become mandatory starting January 1, 2025.
This decision, outlined in the GEN002 requirements, applies to a range of devices including Mobile Phones, Tablets, Mobile Computers, Mobile Routers, and CPEs. The CST encourages manufacturers to include the n71 band in their devices to be imported for the Saudi Arabia market.
