Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina issued Resolucíon 2097/2023 on December 5, 2023, which now allows 5G NR devices to be approved in Argentina and includes the Technical Standard ENACOM-Q2-61.03 V23.1. Main changes to this standard include the following:
- Devices using 5G NR may now be approved on the n78 band (3300-3700 MHz).
- Chapter V for 5G NR has been added to the local technical standard
- Foreign test reports (such as FCC, RED, and ANATEL) may be used for the approval of devices manufactured outside of Argentina, provided the test results comply with the technical parameters established through the local standard ENACOM-Q2-61.03 V23.1. Devices manufactured in Argentina may be approved submitting a DoC.
