The Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) announced on December 13, 2023, that an update was made to the e-ComM system regarding Certificate of Conformity (CoC) renewal. CoCs that have been expired for more than six months will now be automatically suspended or blocked for renewal. Applicants impacted by the announcement will have a 30 day grace period beginning on December 13, 2023, to go through with renewal applications.
