The Consumer Product Safety Office (CPSO) of Singapore has issued a circular on September 7, 2023, on the certification requirements under IEC 62368-1 for AC Adaptors that are able to deliver more than 100 W of power to connected equipment. These AC Adaptors are classified as Controlled Goods, and are required to comply with the safety standard IEC 62368-1. AC Adaptors that are able to deliver more than 100 W of power to connected equipment that have been registered prior to September 7, 2023, will need to comply with the requirements listed in the circular during the renewal process.
