Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) announced on February 27, 2023, that the Security Testing under MTCTE will become effective from July 1, 2023 for Wi-Fi CPE and IP Router. Certification applications submitted on or after this effective date should hold test reports as per security parameters outlined in the relevant ITSARs along with other parameters listed in respective Essential Requirements (ER). Applications submitted or approved before July 1, 2023, must also apply for conversion of the already issued MTCTE certificate into an integrated certificate with security testing.
