The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam published Decision 2125/QĐ-BTTTT on November 21, 2022, which adjusts the HS Codes of some products on the List of Goods Subject to CoC and DoC. HS Codes changed include products such as:
- Mobile phones
- LPWAN devices
- Lithium batteries (for laptops, mobile phones, and tablets)
- Terrestrial Mobile Radio Equipment with integral/removable antenna for analog voice and data
- Radio transceivers that use spread spectrum modulation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band with equivalent isotropic radiated power of 60 mW or greater (only for UAV/Flycams, Wi-Fi devices maintain the same HS Code)
The Decision came into effect on December 1, 2022.
