Regarding series approval, only few devices are subject to this series approval while requirements remains the same:
- Devices must come in series/family
- They must share same test reports and Declaration of Conformity
Sample Requirement
- Please note that commercial grade sample of equipment is required for Notebooks , Tablets, mobile phones ,mouse and Keyboards, Smart watches, Wi-Fi modems, Bluetooth Speakers , Digital cameras ( with WLAN/Wired Interface) , Printer and etc.
NOTES : that samples of other devices can be requested from applicants if and when necessary and all samples are retained by the Commission.
Series Approval.
The commission would normally consider the following equipment for series billing:
- Microwave Radios,
- Servers
- Smart TV, Washing Machines and Refrigerators etc.
- Enterprise Switches
- Enterprise Routers.
- Enterprise Gateway Equipment.
Notes : the above list is just a reference and it is not means 100% acceptance for series , the consideration of equipment for series billing is entirely still depending on the commissions
