MIC has just issued Circular 02/2022/TT-BTTTT regulating products which are mandatory to type approval certification and declaration of conformity. This Circular will replace Circular 01/2021/TT-BTTTT and Circular 11/2020/TT-BTTTT.
Below are some new points for your reference:
1.MIC update the new standards in the Circular:
- QCVN 128:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G base station)
- QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G SA – mandatory from July 01, 2022)
- QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G NSA – mandatory from July 01, 2022)
- QCVN 124:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for Vehicle Radar 76-77GHz – mandatory from July 01, 2022)
- QCVN 123:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for SRD 40-246GHz) – mandatory from July 01, 2022)
- QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for WLAN 5.0GHz device – can apply now and be mandatory from July 01, 2023)
- QCVN 22:2021/BTTTT (Electrical safety for terminals connecting to telecommunications and information technology networks – mandatory from Jan. 01, 2023)
2.Remove some products from the mandatory list:
- 5.8GHz equipment using for transport application
- VHF device using on the river
- Inmarsat F77 device
3.Move some products from Annex 1 (mandatory to type approval certification and declaration of conformity) to Annex 2 (mandatory to declaration of conformity)
- Vehicle radar 76-77GHz
- General SRD operating in bands of 13,553-13,567 MHz, 26,957-27,283 MHz; 40,66-40,7 MHz, 5725-5850 MHz, 24,00-24,25 GHz, 61,0-61,5 GHz, 122-123 GHz, 244-246 GHz
- RFID 13.56MHz

4.Add the limitation of output power for LPWAN devices in the Circular
