Ministry of Communications (MoC) – announced it has decided to shut down 2G and 3G networks in a gradual process, running until the end of 2025. Starting in January 2022, the import of equipment supporting these networks will not be permitted, and new devices will gradually be prohibited from entering the old networks until full closure.
