Due to a network operator feedback to NBTC that there are WWAN user equipment that supports partial band (not full band based on NBTC frequency band). Those equipment can cause Thailand WWAN network to operate inefficiently due to incomplete bandwidth. Main frequency that are effected are such as below.
Current NBTC practice are as follows;
1. Starting immediately, NBTC will on hold and do not accept application for WWAN products with partial band (not full band based on NBTC frequency plan). NBTC will bring this issue to NBTC board decision if they will resume to approve new product certificate with partial band or permanently not issue certificate for products with partial band. For NBTC board decision, it will take estimate for a month to have decision.
2. For previously approved products, NBTC will also bring this issue to board decision of they will need any further action.
