At the 2019 ANATEL Conference in Brazil, ANATEL discussed challenges for testing and certification of 5G devices. ANATEL confirmed that the 5G regulation is under development and is working to have the proper spectrum available. The proposed bands to be used are: 700MHz, 2.3GHz, 3.5GHz and 26GHz. A public consultation should be available in 2020.
