Former ENACOM Telecom Approval core Resolution No. 729/1980 has been revised to introduce some changes on Applicant figures for the Telecom Approval process in Argentina:
Figure of Designated/Authorized Local Manufacturer has been introduced, in order to allow local Argentinean manufacturers to rely on a unique approval done on behalf of a Local Representative company.
Figure of Designated/Authorized Importers remains available, allowing local importers to rely on a unique approval done on behalf of a Local Representative company.
Requirements for a company to become a Local Representative of a Foreign Manufacturer have been revised, requiring an Affidavit specifying its relationship with the brands to be represented and supporting documentation, instead of a Social Contract detailing the relationship.
