The official Mexican standard (Norma Official Mexicana) NOM-001-SCFI-2018,
Electronic devices – Security requirements and methods of test was published in the National Gazette on September 17, 2019. Implementation is effective May 14, 2020 and will replace NOM-001-SCFI-1993. New certifications to the standard will be possible once labs and certification bodies have completed their accreditation.
